I had sailed past this anchorage many times before I ever entered this bay. I was surprised at how much shelter it offered. Its also a useful spot to await the tide for rounding Point Lynas if eastward bound. A good spot for walks ashore too, walk to the Point and watch the race off Point Lynas, or perhaps not it might put you off!!
