orthwen provides shelter from west through north to east. Anchor near the moorings in line with the old lifeboat station. Care needed in the approach due to rocks and in the bay itself are there rocks awash - study the chart and pilot carefully.
Rhoscolyn is a popular beach with holiday makers, dinghies pwc and small power boats so not always very peaceful, but a pleasant spot nontheless.
